We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Berkeley County, West Virginia. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
