Gas service engineer • Udu, Delta State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Udu, Delta State. The job is in a gas distribution network. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser.
