Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Cleburne County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
