Fusing press operator wanted in Knox County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Knox County, Texas. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 5+ years on the tools preferred.
