Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Marshall County, Illinois. The job is at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
