Now hiring: we are hiring a cake decorator in Caribou County, Idaho. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
