Rigging foreman — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Jefferson County, Mississippi. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
