Power float operator — Livingston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Livingston County, Missouri. The role involves: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Part-time with flexible hours.
