VMC operator wanted in Sumter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On a typical shift you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
