Gantry crane operator — Summit County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Summit County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Six days a week, one day off.
