You should have: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Your main tasks: • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer Part-time with flexible hours.
