Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Day-to-day duties: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
