Bulldozer operator — Spencer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Spencer County, Kentucky. You will work at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels 2+ years on the tools preferred.
