Foundry labourer wanted in Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
