Urgent requirement: concrete worker (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Adams County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 4+ years on the tools preferred.
