Moulder wanted in Angus

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Angus, Scotland. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
