Formwork carpenter wanted in Hickory County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Hickory County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
