Elevator technician wanted in Brunswick County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Six days a week, one day off.
