Tile fixer — Lapeer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile fixer in Lapeer County, Michigan. The job is on a residential construction site. You will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
