Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Ohaozara, Ebonyi State. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Part-time with flexible hours.
