Chiller technician • Gateshead, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Gateshead, England. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
