Cement mason — Terrebonne Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a residential housing project. Day to day you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
