Plant operator — Carter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Carter County, Tennessee. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
