Foundry worker • Creek County, Oklahoma

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Creek County, Oklahoma. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
