Lathe operator • Peach County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Peach County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
