Argon welder — Magoffin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Magoffin County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
