Die-casting operator — Autauga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Autauga County, Alabama. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 3+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
