Crane rigger — Taney County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Taney County, Missouri. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
