Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lenoir County, North Carolina. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day to day you will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
