Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Rock County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
