Vacancy available: argon welding operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Brooks County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided.
