Toolroom milling operator — Stafford County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Stafford County, Kansas. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
