Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in DuPage County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Share your details and we will call you back.
