Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Surry County, Virginia. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
