Urgent requirement: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Montague County, Texas. Requirements: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Part-time with flexible hours.
