Urgent requirement: argon welding operator (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Muskegon County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
