Turning centre operator — Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Adams County, Illinois. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
