Room boy — Logan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a room boy in Logan County, Nebraska. You will be based in a hospital housekeeping department. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Service 14-16 rooms per shift to the floor checklist • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room • Clean and disinfect bathrooms — toilets, basins, showers, mirrors and tiles • Report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering Requirements: • Familiar with the colour-coded cleaning system • Able to stand, bend and lift through long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
