Ironing operator wanted in Lenawee County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Lenawee County, Michigan. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
