Steam press operator — Florence County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Florence County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
