Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Lane County, Oregon. You will work at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing You will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
