Fusing press operator wanted in Ondo West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ondo West, Ondo State. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
