We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Worth County, Missouri. Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
