Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Oconee County, Georgia. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
