Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Rotherham, England. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £2,000 per month plus benefits.
