Presser wanted in Madison County

Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Part-time with flexible hours.
