Blocklayer — Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Lake County, Indiana. The role involves laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
