Concrete placer — Cayuga County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Cayuga County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
