Blocklayer • Gaya, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Gaya, Kano State. The job is on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time, day shift.
