Dumper truck operator — Luton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Luton, England. You will be based at a landfill site. The role involves load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; check for underground cables and services before digging; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. £85 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
